Electronics is a great hobby that will never go out of style. The basic concept is that you can take a bunch of little components that individually do one thing, and then with the right programming and/or arranging them in the correct way, give them instructions on when to turn on or off. In an extreme case, all you would have running is a power source and some switches, but electronics is more fun when you add sensors to it. This way, when something happens in the real world (like a motion sensor being tripped) your circuit can respond accordingly by turning on lights or playing sounds or whatever else you want to make happen.

This brings us to our next point… what exactly should we make? There are hundreds of projects out there involving electronics… from a simple blinking light to a complex bomb. The possibilities are endless and it’s up to you to choose what you want to do!
